Greetings from the Dixie Chile Ranch, 

March is here! This can only mean it’s time to get to work preparing the fields, and planting seeds in trays in the grow room and greenhouse. We have completed the pruning and grafting of the apple and cherry trees. We’ve added 10 Enterprise apple trees to our apple orchard The peach trees are starting to bloom. We’ve removed the frost covers from the strawberries, pulled up all the old plastic mulch, and tilled the areas where we’ll plant the tomatoes and peppers. 
 
This coming Saturday (March 9, 2024) we’ll have a booth at the White Squirrel Spring Fling at the Kenton, TN gym. We’ll be providing information on our new adventure for 2024 – Farmers Market at Dixie Chile Ranch. Signing up folks for our Home Produce Delivery Service and selling our few remaining CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) 2024 Memberships. The White Squirrel Spring Fling will be on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, we’ll be found in Booth 56 which is to the left as you come in the gym and in the far back corner on the west wall. Look for our red umbrella.  
 
Farmers Market at Dixie Chile Ranch will open on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 8 am to noon. it will operate every Saturday from 8 am to Noon through October 26^th, 2024. 

 We so very much appreciate everyone who’s joined our 2024 CSA. Your investment is invaluable in helping us have all the necessary seeds, potting soil, and supplies needed to ensure we have a great 2024 growing season. 
 
To those still looking to make your investment in our farm in exchange for 12 weeks of Dixie Chile Ranch fruits and vegetables delivered straight to your door (we only have a couple of memberships still available for the 2024 season), please make your CSA Reservation by filling out our Contact Us Form. The investment is either $400 for a half bushel or $250 for a quarter bushel of produce for 12 weeks starting the middle of June to the end of September.
