What is a DCR CSA Membership?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a production model whereby consumers buy annual shares of a farm’s harvest at a discounted price at the beginning of the growing season. CSA members enjoy a weekly delivery or pick up of fresh produce during the harvesting season of June through September.

GREAT NEWS! – While our half-bushel CSA Harvest Box is perfect for a family of 3 to 5 people, several of our CSA members have told us it’s way too much food for 1 to 2 people.

NEW for 2024, we’re offering a quarter-bushel (1 peck) Harvest Box for those not needing a full half-bushel each week.

What comes in your CSA Harvest Box?
Each DCR CSA Harvest Box will be a half bushel ) variety of the fruits and vegetables we’re harvesting that week. From time to time we include baked items from our kitchen to complete the box.

With the DCR CSA Harvest Box you will receive a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and baked goods. We try to select just the right amount of each available item so you’re not overwhelmed with too much of one fruit or vegetable. The half bushel will be about right for a family of 3 or 4 people.

Where do you deliver?
DCR CSA Deliveries are made to Martin, TN on Tuesdays and to Kenton, Union City, and Troy on Thursdays each week through the season.

What do I need to do to accept delivery?
Please set a cooler with an ice pack in a shaded area of your porch and we’ll place your order in that cooler. Keep in mind the CSA Box is 16 quarts (9.5”x13.5”x9”), so please be sure the cooler has at least 16 quarts capacity.

During what months do I receive my weekly delivery?
From the middle of June to the end of September.

Can I choose what I get in my Harvest Box?
Our standard CSA membership fills our members’ CSA Harvest Boxes with a variety of produce that we’re currently harvesting. We give you the choice of whether you want to include hot peppers and chiles. We also will be happy to replace any items to which a person has allergies or simply doesn’t like. Just notify us when you sign up to become a member.

What if a half bushel CSA Harvest Box is too much for our needs?
Contact us and we’ll work with you to find a solution. Call 731-225-0456.

How often do I receive my CSA Harvest Box?
DCR CSA Deliveries are made to Martin, TN on Tuesdays and to Kenton, Union City, and Troy on Thursdays each week throughout the season. Or you can choose to pick up your CSA Box any day from noon on Tuesday to 7 pm on Saturday at our Farm Store at 3159 E. Union Grove Rd, Kenton, TN 38233.

What if I live outside your delivery areas?
If you are located outside our delivery area you have an option available.

You can pick up your order any day from noon on Tuesday to 7 pm on Saturday at our Farm Store at 3159 E. Union Grove Rd, Kenton, TN 38233.
Please call or text us as to the time you want to pick up your order.
Please bring a box or cooler to put your order in at the time of pick-up.

What if I receive produce that doesn’t meet my standards?
We Guarantee all our produce to be of the highest quality. If on the rare occasion your produce is not up to your expectations, please let us know and we’ll replace the item(s) in our next delivery. Don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s a problem with your items as that’s the only way we can correct a quality issue. And it allows us to check with all our other CSA members to ensure they received a quality product.

What are my payment options?
We have several payment and pricing plans to fit most budgets, so if you don’t see it below, call Tim at 731-225-0456 and we’ll do our best to work out something that fits your needs. We are very flexible in this area, so please don’t hesitate to let us know what will work for you and we’ll see if we can accommodate you.

NOTE: For all members who pay their CSA Membership in full by March 1^st 2024, you’ll receive a $20 voucher with which you can purchase additional items we grow such as strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, etc. (Strawberries will need to be picked up at the farm as they are usually finished before we start deliveries in June.)

Full Earlybird Annual CSA Membership (3 to 5 people): (Half-bushel) $400. (Paid in full by April 1, 2024)

Half Earlybird Annual CSA Membership (1 or 2 people): (Quarter-bushel) $250.

Full Late Spring Annual CSA Membership: (Half-bushel) Paid in full by June 1st – $420.

Half Late Spring Annual CSA Membership: (Quarter-bushel) Paid in full by June 1st – $270

Earlybird Membership payments need to be made between January 1 to April 1, 2024
Full Membership: You may pay in full ($400), or 4 payments of $100 by check
Half Membership: You may pay in full ($250), or 4 payments of $62.50 by check
If paying by Credit/Debit card or through PayPal add 4% to each payment for their transaction fee.

Late Spring Membership payments can be made from January 1 to June 1, 2024

Full Membership: 6 payments of $70 each by check
Half Membership: 6 payments of $45 each by check
If paying by Credit/Debit card or through PayPal add 4% to each payment for their transaction fee.

DISCLAIMER & REFUND POLICY
All sales are subject to product availability. All sales are final. Because we’re dealing with perishable food, we may, at our discretion, determine some items are not up to our high standards and pull them from the market.
In those rare situations, if you’ve paid for your purchase, we’ll either issue credit for a future purchase or if selected items are no longer available we’ll replace any questionable product with fruits or vegetables of equal value.
